CHALLENGER

The Valencia Basket 3x3 men's team finished eighth at the Hanchuan Challenger after falling in the quarterfinals to Lausanne, the eventual tournament champions. The Taronja squad reached the knockout stage after advancing from the group phase.

In the group stage, the team—comprising Javier Herrero, Carlos Martínez, Iván Aurrecoechea, and Jorge Parra—faced Lithuania's Raudondvaris Hoptrans and a team from Los Angeles. After a narrow 18–17 loss to the Lithuanian side in their opener, they secured their first group win by defeating Los Angeles 20–18. The match between the Lithuanian and American teams would determine the final standings; Raudondvaris won 21–16 to finish first, sending Valencia Basket through as the group runners-up. In the quarterfinals, the formidable Lausanne team eliminated the Taronja squad 21–14. The Swiss team went on to claim the Challenger title by defeating Skyliners.

The men's team will return to competition on August 8 and 9 at the Uenohara Challenger in Japan. This event offers another opportunity to accumulate points and contend for a spot on the Masters circuit, adding to the qualification they have already secured for the Lausanne Masters on August 14 and 15.
